Hopefully they can direct you to a doctor who will treat your grandmother for little or no cost (some use a scale on how much you can afford). Good Luck. Most hospitals will can NOT legally refuse medical care due to lack of insurance....u will need to arrange a payment plan, whatever that may be.... She is not eligable for medicare if she is not a citizen. Go to the emergency room for treatment and when insurance is requested, tell them she has none, but u need assistance in finding proper care and will arrange for payments.
